Camouflage Effectiveness Toolkit

The Camouflage Effectiveness Toolkit is a collection of software tools which support the development of fractal-based camouflage patterns, analysis of spatial and spectral scene features, and quantification of the perceptual similarity for a particular camouflage pattern in a particular surround. It is based on an empirically derived psychophysical weighting of image color and texture parameters to provide a human performance-based metric of camouflage effectiveness.

Graphical Interpretation

Internal research and developed effort directed toward developing a taxonomy for determining the most effective graphic format (e.g., bar-chart, line graph, 3-D visualization) based on the graphical interpretation task of the user.
